Gien Pont Aux Choux White Cereal Bowl
Timeless and versatile, the Pont Aux Choux collection is classic French elegance with an iconic rice grain motif.
Originally crafted by an old faience factory named "Pont Aux Choux," located in Paris near a bridge where farmers grew their vegetables in the 18th century, home to some of the first ivory embossed earthenware, purchased by Hall, the founder of Gien, in 1819.
Gien is a symbol of elegance and French art de vivre. Each stunning piece is handcrafted by master craftsmen and women using traditional crafting techniques with two-centuries of history. Clay paste, plaster casts and glazes are all designed and created by Gien using traditional undisclosed recipes. It takes no fewer than 14 different types of earth to forge a piece of Faïence, and the specifications of the mixture are still today one of Gien’s closely kept secrets. Timeless designs and full of heritage, an excellent choice for elegant living.
