Gien Millefleurs Mug
Artist Isabelle de Borchgrave puts a fresh, youthful spin on antique tableware with delicate botanical renderings in a modern color palette. Meaning "a thousand blooms," Millefleurs boasts an abundant bouquet picked from a French garden – including roses, pansies, geraniums and camellias – with an elegant spirit and vintage flair.
Gien is a symbol of elegance and french art de vivre. Each stunning piece is handcrafted by master craftsmen and women using traditional crafting techniques with two-centuries of history. Clay paste, plaster casts and glazes are all designed and created by Gien using traditional undisclosed recipes. It takes no fewer than 14 different types of earth to forge a piece of Faïence, and the specifications of the mixture are still today one of Gien’s closely kept secrets. Timeless designs and full of heritage, an excellent choice for elegant living.
